Global Compact Network Denmark
The Global Compact Network Denmark (GCDK) have entered into a new partnership with REGA. The main goal of this collaboration is to ensure that REGA’s fifteen member organizations are able to build capacity in accordance with the UN Global Compact’s ten principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With the partnership agreement, REGA’s fifteen member organizations sign up to the Global Compact, which together with REGA aim to:
- build knowledge and improve the member organizations’ understanding of the ten principles and the SDGs
- give the members an insight into how the 10 principles and the SDGs can be applied in the individual organizations
In future, this initiative will help the restaurant industry confront its challenges with social responsibility and sustainability. REGA members will be offered targeted knowledge and training on the ten principles and the SDGs through two workshops that will be offered in 2018 and 2019.
Global Compact Network Denmark is the local network for Danish businesses that have signed up to the UN’s global initiative for responsible business practice, Global Compact. Taking its starting point in the Global Compact’s 10 principles and the SDGs, the network inspires and facilitates Danish companies’ work with social responsibility and sustainability to the benefit of both business and society.
